Review management software for independent hotels: 9 tools compared
Most hotel review platforms are built for chains: long contracts, demos before you see a price, and surveys and dashboards an independent hotel may never open. A few newer tools do one job, writing replies, for a low monthly price. Here is how nine of them compare, using what each company says on its own website.
We make Fellwind, so it's on the list. Prices were checked on 30 October 2026 and may have changed; follow the comparison links for sources.
| Tool | Starts at | Free option | Review sites | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fellwind | Free during early access | Yes, everything | Google, Booking.com, Tripadvisor and more | Independent hotels that want every review answered in their own voice |
| Revera | €19 a month | Trial, 5 replies | Google, Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Viator, GetYourGuide | Writing replies, especially if you also sell tours |
| Replora AI | $14 a month | 5 AI replies | Google only | Businesses that only care about Google |
| GuestRevu | $34.99 a month per property | LITE: 3 sites, 30 days, no replies listed | Top 3 sites, 20+ on PRO+ | Hotels that want surveys and benchmarking |
| MARA | €100 a month per property (€70 billed annually) | Two-week trial, 40 replies | Major review sites | Hotels and groups that want analytics, surveys and an API |
| Customer Alliance | €108 a month, 12-month minimum | Demo only | Many portals | Groups that want surveys and regional reporting |
| ReviewPro (Shiji) | Not published | Demo only | 100+ sources, 45 languages | Chains and groups |
| TrustYou | Not published | Demo only | Reviews plus surveys | Groups that want reviews, guest data and messaging together |
| Revinate | Not published | Demo only | Reviews and surveys (Revinate Feedback) | Hotels that mainly want guest data and email marketing |
What an independent hotel actually needs
- Every review in one place. Google, Booking.com and Tripadvisor at least. Checking three sites every morning is how reviews go unanswered.
- A good first draft. A reply that sounds like your hotel, not a template, so answering takes seconds.
- You stay in control. You approve what gets published, especially for negative reviews.
- A price that fits one property. Per-property plans and 12-month contracts add up fast.
Surveys, competitor benchmarking and group dashboards are useful, but mostly for groups with someone whose job is guest experience.
Three kinds of tool
Reply writers: Revera and Replora AI
Cheap and quick to start. Revera drafts replies for reviews from Google, Tripadvisor, Booking.com and tour sites at €19 a month. Replora AI drafts and posts Google replies, with automatic posting for high ratings. Neither describes a single place to manage reviews from every site, and Replora covers Google only.
Review workspaces: Fellwind
Every review from your connected sites in one queue, with a reply drafted in your hotel's voice for each. You approve every reply. Replies to Google post directly; for sites that don't let apps post, you copy and paste. Free during early access.
Reputation platforms: MARA, GuestRevu, Customer Alliance, ReviewPro, TrustYou and Revinate
Reviews plus surveys, analytics, benchmarking and integrations. MARA and GuestRevu publish prices and have plans sized for a single property. Customer Alliance publishes prices with a 12-month minimum. ReviewPro, TrustYou and Revinate ask you to book a demo. Revinate is mainly a guest data and marketing platform with reviews as one part.
How to choose
- Count your reviews. A few a week can be handled by hand or with a reply writer. Dozens across several sites need a workspace.
- List the sites that matter. If Booking.com and Tripadvisor matter as much as Google, rule out Google-only tools.
- Decide if you need surveys. If not, don't pay for a platform built around them.
- Try it on your own reviews before you sign anything longer than a month.
